Still in His Presence

Psalm 37:7

Be still in the presence of theLord, and wait patiently for Him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes.

Sometimes it seems as if those who are living for the world are prospering while those who are doing their best to live a life dedicated to Jesus are struggling at every turn.  But we see in the above scripture that if we will be still in the presence of The Lord and wait patiently He will act. We are not to worry about the things that others are doing. We should just focus on Him and leave all our troubles and worries at His feet. He will take care of those who love and serve Him!!

So today if you feel like you are trying your best but trouble seems all around you just remember to go to Him. Be still in His presence. And even though it’s often a hard thing to do patiently wait on Him to act on your behalf!!!

  1. No doubt we are in the end times and working hard for The Lord! It does seem that way though. But God has our back and we should always remember that. We need to look up and not to the right or the left. Focus on God not others! Preaching to me this morning! Ha! Pamela Britt Malone
