Phil. 4:11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content
This scripture is one that has been going around in my mind for a few days. Although I haven’t written about it in awhile, there is something that I have longed for and prayed about for most of my life. I believe that each of us has that one thing that we have been standing before The Lord for. That one prayer that we so long to see answered. I am doing my best to learn a lesson from Paul. I want to be content no matter what is going on around me. I want to be content even if God doesn’t answer my prayer how and in the time frame that I think He should. I want to be content even if His answer is no.
My prayer this week is that each of us will learn this lesson. That we will remember what Paul wrote. That in whatever state we find ourselves in that we will be content.
