Sex Isn't The Love Test

Sex Isn't The Love Test

"Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy,
it does not boast,
it is not proud.
It is not rude,
it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil
but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts,
always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails."

I Corinthians 13:4-8

Sex was designed by God to create a bond, both physical and spiritual between two persons, a husband and wife together forever and to bring more children to the earth to be stewards over what God created. That spiritual bond is not easily broken and is supposed to create a positive union of mutual care, fidelity and trust for both persons so that physical and emotional needs can be met. The way God intended.

"If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal." I Corinthians 13:1

A gong makes a lot of noise but isn't going to take the garbage out when you ask. So before you crawl into bed with somebody make sure wedding bells are ringing and the final exams are passed.

A clanging cymbal gets attention and could distract from the real issues -don't trade a melody for one. Wait. The choice is yours. Christ died so you could have one. Trust. He's Faithful. Be sure that when you hear wedding bells it's not just a noisy gong.

Prayer: I love You Jesus and I thank you for letting me choose who I end up with. I am grateful you didn't leave me where I was and that you have a good plan for me. You said You would never leave me or forsake me. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Prayers Please

James 5:16 (KJV) Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that Ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

When I am in the middle of texting  my family, church family or friends to ask for prayer for whatever reason... I always end my text in .... Prayers Please :)

Vacation was approaching! Happy stayvac!!! A wonderful strategically planned out week at home. Go to Birmingham to spend time with the baby daughter, spend quality time with my mom, get work done at church, make memories with my Grand Babies, ANNNDDD ...
one full day alone!! Yes, doing whatever this girl wanted! Happy me!

It was the 3rd day of my vacation. I was getting my hair done that day! Picking up baby cousin to go get big cousin from Kindergarten. A trip to the dollar store so that they could pick out surprises, out to eat and headed back home. I almost had the day made!!!

Getting up from the table at the restaurant, my chair got stuck on a tile in the floor and I fell backwards causing a sprained wrist and something I have never faced before ... a concussion :(

For days the most FRIGHTING thing in a Christians life happened..........
I could NOT remember the words to PRAY.  I could not RECALL the scriptures hidden DEEP in my heart!!

A mass text was sent out, calls were made and by word of mouth Christians began to lift my name up in prayer because " I " could not!!!

I am going into week two since my accident. I am Trusting The Lord with all of my heart for a 100% recovery. Even though it has taken me much longer than normal; with God's help, I wrote this devotion, a little at a time. I am very grateful that I could.

Each day I am gaining strength! Sweet friends and the POWER OF PRAYER is such a beautiful thing. It is a comfy feeling to know that when you are in the valley, Prayer Warriors are tugging at God's heart strings to pull you out! Thank you everyone!

Today, I remembered to dress myself in the whole armor of God!!!

Blessings to you always ~

Still in His Presence

Psalm 37:7

Be still in the presence of theLord, and wait patiently for Him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes.

Sometimes it seems as if those who are living for the world are prospering while those who are doing their best to live a life dedicated to Jesus are struggling at every turn.  But we see in the above scripture that if we will be still in the presence of The Lord and wait patiently He will act. We are not to worry about the things that others are doing. We should just focus on Him and leave all our troubles and worries at His feet. He will take care of those who love and serve Him!!

So today if you feel like you are trying your best but trouble seems all around you just remember to go to Him. Be still in His presence. And even though it’s often a hard thing to do patiently wait on Him to act on your behalf!!!

You Are Loved

Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God. (‭Psalm‬ ‭42‬:‭5‬ NIV)

Depression is something many of us battle. For some it's every now and then while for others it's overwhelming. I know as a woman I feel down from time to time. Not trying to exclude men but we all know women tend to be more emotional then men. I know I am! Now I am not a doctor by any means but I know what helps me cope when I become down and depressed and that is finding strength in God.

When I feel like I am down and I turn to the scripture and pray that God will take the sadness away and bring the light and joy back in. I turn to my sisters in Christ and ask for prayer and love. I know that although I may feel alone in that depression the devil is bringing on me that I am not alone. I have God and because I have God I realize all the joy I have in my life.

The devil brings on a false sense to us that causes depression I believe at times. It's like when I feel sad and I pray for God to help me he clears up that fog the devil is using to hinder my vision of what's really going on. I know I am so blessed and these are times that you truly can see all the blessings we have.

While many people battle depression it can be a very serious thing. If you are battling depression or know someone that is you don't have to endure it alone. You are never alone. God loves you and cares for you. He sent his son to die for you so you could have everlasting life. YOU ARE LOVED AND YOU ARE IMPORTANT!

God's Blessings

In Proverbs 10:22 the word of God says: The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. KJV.

Very interesting scripture. One phrase really pops out to me which is "it maketh rich". Of course this phrase refers to the blessing of the LORD, but the way that it is worded entices a reader to look for more. What is the blessing of the LORD and who can receive it. We must go back to the beginning in the book of Genesis when God created man (male and female) in his own image and God blessed them. Genesis1:27 and 1:28. In verse 29 of Genesis God gives them every herb bearing seed which was on the face of the earth and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed, to it shall be for meat. After God finished creating everything he said it was good and the evening and the morning were the first day.

What We need to recognize here is the blessing of God on Adam and Eve. God later creates the garden of Eden and places them inside. It is a beautiful place with everything provided by God for their enjoyment and pleasure. Most of all they got to walk in the presence of almighty God, until, of course, the fall of man.  After the fall sin was born and man became cursed. Now, the awesomeness of God is that he immediately went into action so he could redeem man from the curse. He sent Jesus Christ his only begotten son into the world by being born of a virgin so he could become the perfect sacrifice for mans sins. Jesus accomplished his father'so mission at calvarywhere he shed his own blood for you and I. The only thing we have to do is recognize that we are a sinner in need of forgiveness. Then we must turn to Jesus Christ and ask him to forgive us of our sins and ask him to become Lord of our life. Now guess what happens when we do that? According to  Galatians 3:13  we are redeemed from the curse of the law of sin and death. The blessing is now activated once again, just like in the garden ofEden! We can walk with God everyday, just like Adam and Eve did. All the blessings God has for us become available now! So do not wait accept Jesus today and begin to walk in the blessing of God because "it maketh rich"!.

Put On Your Tiara And Deal With It!

Put On Your Tiara And Deal With It

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me," Philipians 4:13

A friend of mine once said, "to put your big girl panties on and deal with it" was a common phrase amongst her colleagues. Well, what if I don't want to deal with it? What if I just want to sit down and cry for awhile then can I deal with it?  I prefer, "put your tiara on and deal with it."

"You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth." Rev 5:10

Yes, we are made to reign on this earth as kings and priests, not to reign as cruel overlords or tyrants but to serve Our King.

It's okay. Cry. Pray. Then put on your tiara and deal with it. You are born to reign.

"For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, ...." Colossians 1:13 NIV

Prayer: Dear Father give me the strength to deal with everything I have to do today and I thank you for the Grace to reign as a son or daughter of God who is dearly loved. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Weak and Weary

I found myself weak and weary from the high demands of everyday life. How do I ALWAYS forget to ask for help? This is not the first time this has happened to me... I find myself BUSY being BUSY and not casting my cares on the Lord. The Lord used a phone call from my Gran last night to help me pinpoint my problem. She always knows when something is off, and always gets to the bottom of things. After a long talk and a prayer I feel so refreshed and free!! Always remember to cast your cares on The Lord. We are not meant to do this thing called life alone. Jesus cares for us and he wants to be our rock every. step. of. the. way. Don't forget to ask for his help!

Psalm 55:22 Turn your worries over to the Lord. He will keep you going. He will never let godly people fall.

2 Chronicles 32:8
We have our God to help us and fight for us

When We Least Expect It

Matt. 24:36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.”

Matt. 24:44 “ Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”

One of the things I enjoy doing is watching the news while drinking my morning coffee. Every day I just shake my head and say to myself “the world is nuts!! People are crazy!! What will happen next??” The stories they tell are for the most part NOT good news. There is crime in every city, the fear of an almost incurable disease, attacks on the Christian faith, bad weather. On and on it goes.

I want to encourage you to read Matthew chapter 24 in its entirety. You will see that this really should not be a surprise to us. Although Jesus makes it very clear that no one will know the day or hour of His return other than our Father, He does give us signs of the end times. He tells us things that we can look to and know that the time is getting closer. He tells us to “Be ready” because He is coming when we least expect it.

Are you ready? Are the people you love ready? If you are not sure of the answer to these questions, let me encourage you to read the scriptures below and to share them with others who may be unsure if they are prepared for the coming of Jesus!!

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Not of This World

Romans 12:2 NIV
"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."

I saw a post the other day from a friend that really touched my heart. She posted that although she was not perfect she had made a change since she had been saved. A change that was visible to others that showed she had changed her life. The way she talked and dressed were some examples she gave. It immediately made me think of Romans 12:2

After we commit our lives to Christ we are still living in the world but we are no longer of this world. We are to walk in a different standard. Does that mean we are better than others? No, absolutely not, but we are no longer of this world. That means that the way we speak, act, dress etc should be pleasing to God. Our biggest witness is through our actions. While we can speak of Christ all day long if our actions do not back that our witness is destroyed.

We are not of this world. Do your actions reflect that? Does the way you dress reflect Christ? The way you treat others and care for others does it reflect Christ? We have to be mindful of this. If we are not doing these things our witness is destroyed.

Free Will Offerings

There is something about free will. The act of doing something when it isn't required. I am convinced it is an act that touches the Almighty in a special way. If you think about it our whole belief system is set up on free will. We have the power to decide to follow Christ or not. Nothing is making us do it. We choose on our own free will what we believe.

When I was studying Exra the other day a phrase kept popping out at me, "free will offering." It says it several times in the first couple of chapters of Ezra. I started thinking about that. It isn't really a term used in today's churches. Ofcourse you pay your tithes, but this was different! This was people giving above what they were required on their own free will to rebuild the temple. Something so important. Something that would have not been accomplished probably as fast or maybe even at all if people had not listened to God and gave of their own free will.

It was a cause they believed in. They believed with their whole hearts in the rebuilding of the Temple. I sat and thought about how we could apply this to the modern church. What do you believe in that your church is doing? Have you ever thought about making a free will offering? There is something so moving about free will. Anyone and everyone should tithe! The Word of God tells you to! And it is the only place in the Bible that says if you do it God will rebuke the devour for you! Now think about what He would do if you honored Him by making a FREE WILL offering!!!!!!!!

Just a thought! Be blessed!!!!

Psalm 71:5 - For thou art my hope, O Lord God; thou art my trust from my youth.
Psalm 71:14 - But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.

The writer of Psalm 71 was an elderly person who placed their hope and trust in the Lord. It is actually a prayer for help for God to deliver him out of the hand of the wicked. His enemies said that God had forsaken him, therefore they could persecute and destroy him.

When reading this psalm you can clearly see the close relationship he had with God. He walked with God a long time. While the storms of life's circumstances rage, he places his hope and trust in God. Hope in action expects for a positive result. Trust in action leaves us in peace. Praise in action shows our faith to God.

Who are you hoping in today? Are the storms of life raging around you? If so, run to your Heavenly Father in prayer placing your hope and trust in him. He loves you and he is a God of more than enough! He wants to fulfill whatever you are hoping for. He will never leave you nor forsake you. God is good and will always have your back.

Now I have a daughter who I love dearly as most parents do. I want to meet all her needs and more. When she comes to me and asks for something, the desire of my heart is to fulfill that request as long as it is good for her. It blesses me to fulfill that request. When she needs or wants something she comes to me with hopes of me fulfilling her request and then she trusts me to do it! Now we are Gods children and he loves us dearly. His love goes way beyond human love and yet we carry our burdens. I wonder why? God wants to fulfill our every need and a lot of our wants just like parents do. So place your hope in him today and trust him to do it!

Running with the Devil

Running With The Devil

"I found the simple life ain't so simple when I jumped out on that road." -Van Halen

We are born into a sinful world with no way out -until Jesus suffered and died taking our place at The Cross. As believers and followers He tells us:

"Then Jesus said to His disciples, If anyone desires to be My disciple, let him deny himself (disregard, lose sight of, and forget himself and his own interests) and take up his cross and follow Me (cleve steadfastly to Me, conform wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying also)," Matthew 16:24 AMP

The devil was always after Jesus, trying to make Him give in to self interest. Jesus did battle with the devil -and stayed true to The Father. Apostle Peter tells us:

"Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring (in fierce hunger), seeking someone to seize upon and devour." I Peter 5:8 AMP

We have an adversary and we have a Divine Advocate Who oversees us all and He doesn't want to lose any of us.

"(After all) the kingdom of God is not a matter of (getting the) food and drink (one likes), but instead it is righteousness (that state which makes a person acceptable to God) and (heart) peace and joy in the Holy Spirit," Romans 14:17 AMP

"Blessed (happy, to be envied) is the man who is patient under trial and stands up under temptation, for when he has stood the test and been approved, he will receive (the victor's) crown of life which God has promised to those who love HIm." James 1:12AMP

We might be running with the devil in this race but we are children of The Lamb of God and He has overcome the world. Keep running -don't look back.

God's Protection

PSALMS 91:4 (KJV) He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

When it comes to my devotions, I would love for them to be beautifully written like some. English and punctuation are not my strong points and i will never pretend to know it all about God's Holy Word. I simply post what I feel The Lord wants me to write. Mostly, I am sharing what is going on in my own life! Even if I end up writing in the midnight hour, each time God puts a new subject on my heart :)

This week an old friend stopped by my Mother's home and reminded me of something that happened to me a long time ago. I had not thought of this experience in years. Even though I have talked about this subject before, I TRUELY believe what is embedded in a persons heart, good or bad when a crisis arrives.... it WILL come out of their mouth!!!

It was a winter Sunday morning. I remember that there were no leafs on the trees. I was in my usual rush out the door and get to Church mode. A straight way, down the dip and starting to head up. A truck topped the steep hill and was clearly in my lane. I removed my foot from the gas petal and stomped on my brakes. I can still hear the tires screeching in my head. There was not going to be enough time to stop. I could see a man and a lady inside the truck. The man was blonde and was smoking a cigarette, the woman had dark hair. The truck was literally that close!!! I knew we were going to hit! I knew I had no time to get out of his way! I that moment... my life was over!!! At least I thought!

I have heard people say that in circumstances like these your life flashes before your eyes. I must say the unusual happened to me. I closed my eyes and covered my face with my hands!!! I screamed ..... JESUS!!!!! The word was deep down in my soul. That is the only word that came out of my mouth.

I'm not really sure what happened next after my frightening episode! When I opened my eyes I was pulled over on the side of the road, neatly parked in front of a yard.

My logical side knows that in general, people's natural reaction would be to jerk the car to the right. My spiritual side knows there is a different version! You see, NO ONE closes their eyes and covers their face behind the wheel!! I ended up NOT a few car lengths pulled over; I was almost to my destination!!! Almost at Church!!!

There were no outside eye witnesses that day. Just me the people in the truck and God Almighty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did The Lord transcend me and my car into safety? Were God's angels there to minister to my every need?  Did The Lord lift the truck over my car to avoid a tragedy? Were the people in the truck a follower of Christ or did they need more time?

I will never know on earth the answers to these questions. I do KNOW that God was FAITHFUL and I do KNOW I saw a mighty miracle that day in my life. The trail of the black tire marks on the road bothered me for a long, long time until one day the State department came in and repaved the road!

This week I remembered that God's protection was clear that Sunday morning and God's protection in life's uncertainty..............................
IS STILL THE SAME TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Blessings to you always ~

Perfect Surrender

2 Samuel 22:31 God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection.

The word surrender means to “give up control or possession of; to yield”. Sometimes we have a hard time surrendering every part of our life to God. Often times we think we know best or that He is not moving fast enough. We allow the pursuit of our dreams and desires to come between us and His perfect way. We may not always understand His way of doing things but we can always be sure that His way is best and that He always keeps His promises.

There is story after story in Scripture where God made a promise and not one time did He go back on His word. He may take longer than we want or do it in a completely different way than we think He should but He always comes through. Our job is to simply surrender every part of our life to Him and let His perfect plan come to pass.

Do Not Be Afraid

Do Not Be Afraid

We live in a time where there is turmoil all around us. We find ourselves living in fear. Every time you turn on the news it is something else out there that the devil is sending to make us fear. All around us you see reports of ebola, Isis, shootings etc. Fear can cripple us. I know I have written on fear before but with all that is around us I truly feel like God was telling to write on it again.

As we all know in Alabama we are entering that time of year for storms to start again. When the 2011 tornados came through my oldest daughter Lillie who is now 7 was extremely upset by this. She was going to school at Sipsey at the time in their headstart program and that area was greatly affected. She was so concerned about it that she wanted to call her Papa John and ask him about the storms and if God is the one who sent the storms. I will remember this as long as I live. She called him and said “Papa is God the one that sends the storms?” My dad replied “God is the one who protects us when the storms come” Immediately her fear was gone.

The devil sends things to make us fearful to rob of us our joy. He wants us to be afraid and when our guard is down he strikes. I know for a long time I feared cancer. My mother had battled cancer, my grandfather had battled cancer, my father had battled cancer, it was all around me. I feard it. The devil uses all sorts of things to make us fearful whether it be a sickness, storms, financial burdens etc. When I feel like am being overwhelmed with fear I turn to God. Just like my father told Lillie, God is the one who protect us when all those different kinds of storms rage around us. Nothing is too big for God.

I know a lot of people are fearful for our country right now. You see it all over the news. What you do not see all over our news is that there is nothing that is too big for our God. Give your fears to God.

“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise- in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” Psalm 56 3:4

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you & help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand” Isaiah 41:10

“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged” Deuteronomy 31:8

Lack of Knowledge

Hosea  4:6 - My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me, seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Do Christian people have a lack of God's knowledge? Are we seeking God with all our heart? Seeking him for answers to our problems and questions about his word? You may think this scripture in Hosea is Old Testament teaching and does not pertain to us today but let us see what the New Testament says about gods laws.

Now according to Hebrews 8:6 Jesus Christ is the mediator of a better covenant which was established upon better promises. Jesus has become our high priest who is set on the right hand of the throne of majesty on high. In verse10 of Hebrews chapter 8 God said I will put my LAWS into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people.

That is the beauty of the new covenant. We now have a personal God! If we know Jesus his spirit lives in us. He is the precious Holy Spirit. We are not to quench his spirit. When we do, satan can rob us of real spiritual knowledge that only the Holy Spirit can teach us.

Quick knowledge that is gained from using an iPad, cell phone or computer cannot compare to the true knowledge of God. Have you ever had that God moment when a scripture comes alive to you? It is like turning on a light in a dark room. In that moment God's word becomes alive to us and real spiritual knowledge is born in us. He speaks to our hearts. As gods people, are we lacking this kind of knowledge? Are we unknowingly rejecting this knowledge by using electronic devices to replace our relationship with him? I pray not, but it is something to think about.

God's Megaphone

God's Megaphone

"To everything there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven:
A time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to pluck up what is planted,
A time to kill and a time to heal, a time to break down and a time to build up,
A time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance,
A time to cast away stones and a time to gather stones together, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
A time to get and a time to lose, a time to keep and a time to cast away,
A time to rend and a time to sew, a time to keep silence and a time to speak,
A time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace."
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 AMP

As long as life goes on time will pass. It doesn't seem like such a friend sometimes when we are in pain or trouble but:

"For our light, momentary affliction (this slight distress of the passing hour) is ever more and more abundantly preparing and producing and achieving for us an everlasting weight of glory (beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast and transcendent glory and blessedness never to cease!) II Cor 4:17 AMP

We aren't born forever and we don't die forever. It is a season that comes and then passes like everything else. C.S. Lewis said that, "Pain insists upon being attended to. God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our consciences, but shouts in our pains. It is his megaphone to rouse a deaf world."

Dying, killing, weeping, morning, -these are the things that move us closer to God -they get our attention.

Birth, healing, laughing, dancing -this is when God whispers.

Remember, each season will pass. We will not be lonely and cry forever. Each new day is bringing us closer to a time of joy when God whispers -don't be so deaf from God's shouting that you can't hear His whispers. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Mustard Up Your Faith

Matthew 11:28 (NIV) - Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

My name is Pamela Britt Malone. If my name was listed in the Dictionary it would have the definition attached to it as - PLAIN! Yes!!! Plain ole Pammie and I really like it that way :)

There's not much "hoopla" in the story of my life. I am, just simply, me! I don't hide my feelings very well. If I am sad you will feel it or if I am happy you will be able to hear it! I can truthfully say, you get what you see, I am the same wherever I go!

Growing up in my Christian faith I have never been the type of person who doubted their salvation, stressed about going to hell or wondered if God was real. Before the date of July 18, 2014, If I were asked to describe the foundation of my faith; I would have to say it would be a very thick slab of solid concrete, poured with love and surrounded by pure steel. UNSHAKABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At least I thought...........

Until the beginning of last Summer my faith had never been remotely questioned. People have noticed that I have not been my bubblie self since the passing of my Father. They have understood why I have been weary. They know why I have been heavily burdened. I have been unsure of walking across my own concrete slab of faith, knowing that it might crumble at any given moment.

Last week in the middle of my struggle ...RIGHT WHEN...I felt that everyone finally understood me ....

An employee from the main office has been placed temporarily to fill in at my branch. I have worked with this sweet woman off and on for 16 years now. She knows my faith in Christ and throughout the years I have had many request from her for important prayer. My heart was heavy that first morning she came into the bank but as we began to chat, I knew her heart was crushed. A bad report was given concerning her brother.

I asked God as soon as my boss placed her next to me..................

Each day, I managed to mustard up my faith and gently presented the Word of God. It was not easy. Honestly, I just did not feel like ministering. I did not want to teach. I did not want to share. I was empty.

I don't pretend to be perfect in my faith walk. I am in the process of healing from a great loss. I didn't feel ready in anyway to do The Lords work but in my WEARINESS God used my WILLINGNESS!!!! At the end of the week, A GOOD REPORT came :)

The Lord is showing me there is a new miracle that is waiting for us each day. Some are HUGE  like cancer free Jay and some are so tiny that the average person might over look it. I am learning to search out the positive. At the end of the day... GOD IS GOOD and plain Pammie....

Blessings to you always ~

The Mustard Seed

Matt. 17:20 “You don’t have enough faith,”Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.

Luke 17:6 The Lord answered, “If you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘May you be uprooted and thrown into the sea,’ and it would obey you!

Do you ever struggle with your faith? Do you ever look around and think “I wish I had as much faith as _______?” I must admit there are times that I struggle with keeping faith about certain issues and situations. I know I’m not alone in this. Just this week I have had multiple conversations with friends about this very thing. BUT, as we see in the two scriptures above, if we have faith the size of a mustard seed we can see amazing things happen!! Truthfully that’s not big faith!!!

A mustard seed is between 1-2 millimeters in size and can produce a tree up to 20 feet high!! Isn’t that amazing?? Something so tiny can produce such a huge thing.

So, the next time you feel like your faith is small remember what The Word says about the mustard seed. As long as you have even the tiniest bit of faith nothing is impossible!!!
