Joy Comes in the Morning

Grief can be a powerful thing and if we aren't careful can bring us down and allow the devil to take hold. I have seen grief make people question God, become bitter, and eventually turn their back to what they had once known. God does not want this kind of pain for us. It is in times like these that God wants us to draw closer than ever to him.

Tears will happen and that is ok, but do not let grief steal your joy. Don't let grief take a strong hold over your life. Cast all your grief and sorrow away. Turn to God and he will comfort you. "In my distress I cried unto the Lord, and he heard me. (‭Psalms‬ ‭120‬:‭1‬ KJV)"

"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. (‭Psalm‬ ‭34‬:‭18‬ NIV)"  Isn't that comforting to know that God is always with us? He is close to the broken hearted. When we have times when we feel grief and sorrow hold on to the fact that these times will not last. This too shall pass.
"I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. (‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭18‬ NIV)"

Take comfort in knowing that Joy will come again. No matter what your grieving God can fill that void and take away your pain. We all feel sadness and pain at times and it's at those times we can find great comfort in The Lord.
"For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. (‭Psalms‬ ‭30‬:‭5‬ KJV)"

  1. Oh darling I love you! Daddy passed away 2 months tomorrow. Years ago The Lord told me you would be the one to minister to me when one of my parents passed away because you had walked the shoes of loosing your Father. The words you have spoken to me has been such a great comfort. You told me in every situation to remember what my daddy would do and what he would say. I will never forget to do that and I will always continue the ministry he stated on this earth :) Pamela Britt Malone
