Perfect in His Eyes

"I praise you because I am fearfully & wonderfully made.." Psalm 139:14

A good friend read a paragraph to me this week & boy, did it hit home. "It breaks God's heart when you are constantly criticizing yourself, because He made you perfect. You are perfect to Him."

How often do we wish we could change something about ourself? Our weight, our hair, our smile, our eye color, etc.. (I could go on & on.)
If you are anything like me, I do this daily. Especially with my weight. This breaks God's heart to pieces when we aren't happy with the masterpiece He created!

Okay ladies, (& even men), let's get it together!! Let's praise Him for the person He made. When you look in the mirror tell yourself, "I have a purpose! I am beautiful! God made me in His image!!"

  1. Boy, did you hit home Kasey. I struggle with low self image since my divorce and even before that if I dig deep. My problem with my weight is lack of disipiline!!! My flesh rules most of the time. I read something yesterday that made me think. It said...if you are breathing then God has a purpose for your life!!!! Pamela Britt Malone
