Cry Out to the Lord

Cry Out to The Lord

OUT OF the depths have I cried to You, O Lord. Lord, hear my voice; let Your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications. (Psalm 130:1, 2 AMP).

Have you ever just cried out to God? Just at that final point in your life where you can't do anything but cry out to Him? I have found myself at this point many many times. This Psalm is always so encouraging to me.

I wait for the Lord, I expectantly wait, and in His word do I hope. (Psalm 130:5 AMP)

Sometimes in life we come across these situations or seasons in life where the outcome can look bleak. It can seem to us that there really is no hope or there really is no point in trying anymore. But, don't be discouraged! Wait upon the Lord! Wait expectantly! Put your hope in His Word. When all else fails in life, we have His Word. The precious gift that God gave us. The written Word of God that can not lie.

Sometimes you may feel it is just you and Him against the world. And, that's ok because He is all you need!

O Israel, hope in the Lord! For with the Lord there is mercy and loving-kindness, and with Him is plenteous redemption. And He will redeem Israel from all their iniquities. (Psalm 130:7, 8 AMP)

With our hope in the Lord we have mercy, loving-kindness, and redemption. What more could we need. We have a promise that he will redeem us!

Whatever is going on in your life today change you focus right now to put your hope on the Word of God. The promises He gave us. Even though the ride might be bumpy we have the peace of knowing the end result. He is with you always. Working in your favor. Hope in the Word! Wait for Lord! Wait expectantly!

  1. It is such a blessing Mary to know you truly care so much about people that you truly mean you would love to minister to them. I feel every morning driving at 7:20 the exact same way that you wrote about. Just Jesus and me against the world. Our God is so faithful and my constant friend. Couldn't make it a breath without my beloved Savior!!! LOVED WHAT WE LEARNED YESTERDAY AT THE JOYCE MYERS CONFERENCE!!! "You are never alone, you always have Jesus!" Pamela Britt Malone
