Beautiful in its Time

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. (Ecclesiastes 3:11 NIV)

For there is a proper time and procedure for every matter, though a person may be weighed down by misery. (Ecclesiastes 8:6 NIV)

This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed. (Habakkuk 2:3 NLT)

We all need to learn to sit back and wait on God. Sometimes we get so eager for God to move that we try to move him ourselves before his time. This is never good!!! When we try to play God it always ends in disaster.  If we become impatient and try to do things ourselves instead of waiting on him, there will always be chaos and broken hearts! People will begin to step down and walk away from what God has called them to do!! This is not of God!!!! God is a god of peace!!! In him there is no discord!!! When we abide in him and wait for him to move, situations will work out! He is requiring us to wait for a reason! He has to teach us how to grow and get us ready for the things he has planned. We need to learn to be patient and teachable! So many times we get dissatisfied with how things are going but we shouldn't get down and out about it!! Just keep praying and keep seeking!! God will move when he is ready and when he thinks it's time!

This devo was written from the heart of Maggi Sellers! It's from the Holy Spirit! Thank you for reading and I look forward to your comments!

  1. Yes, waiting on God's perfect timing is hard but I am simply praising it through! First I prayed and now I am praising until I see the victory! Glory! Great devotion! Pamela Britt Malone
