It Never Goes Unoticed

Do you ever get tired of doing church? Do you ever have to make yourself get up to go to church? Do you ever wonder if your efforts are making a difference or matter at all?

Are not five sparrows sold for two small coins? Yet not one of them has escaped the notice of God.7Even the hairs of your head have all been counted. Do not be afraid. You are worth more than many sparrows.

Luke 12

I was in a prayer meeting tonight and God really spoke to my heart. I had been throwing some thoughts around in my head for the past couple weeks. I wasn't really complaining about the work I do for the Lord I was just thinking about it. Would all my earthly efforts to please God matter? I sometimes don't even realize that I work for the Lord a lot. I guess that is a good thing. I just do it. It's what I have always known. It's what I was taught as a child to do. I would follow my Gran Gran around ever step she made while she was ministering to people on the phone for hours. I was raised to sacrifice everything for Him.

Everything we do for God matters. No matter how small of a work or how large of a work it all matters and pleases God! I was reminded of this tonight. I make God proud! If you are working for God you make Him proud. He is pleased with us! We are doing a good job!

This is what the Holy Spirit said:

Don't  sell yourself short. Everything you do for me I see and count. Every sacrifice, every act of praise, every time you make yourself get up for church I see. I know. You don't do this for no reason. I am the reason! What you do for Me and My Kingdom would never go unnoticed. Your work and effort is valuable to me. I appreciate you and I am proud of you.

Nothing escapes the notice of God. He knows how many hairs are on your head. You are worth more than the sparrows.

I pray this devotion finds you well and seeking a meaningful relationship with God. He cares for you so much and wants the best for you. Put your trust in Him. Seek Him and you will hear His perfect voice.

  1. I thought about this last night at our prayer revival! I smiled inside because it is common to the children of our church to come already bathed and in PJ's! And yes, not very many show up to pray but it is normal for our church babies to be there! You were raised that way and now you are raising your child to do the same and as not always the perfect situation to have small childen in the mist of a. "Quite" prayer service....they are learning!!!!! My grandbabie that will be 2 in March and is learning to talk good said......GeGe, doing? I said.......praying Sheoherd, use your inside voice!!!!! He shut his little eyes for only one second and said.......MEN!!! My grandbabies are learning and he already knows that at the end of a prayer you say Amen!!!! ALL THINGS ARE NOTICED BY GOD!!!
