Song of solomon 4:7
You are altogether beautiful, my love there are is no flaw in you.
When you look into the mirror what do you see? Most of us can easily find some imperfections that we can point out. Some of us are guilty about buying into all the beauty products to help cover wrinkles, freckles and stretch marks etc...while there isn't anything wrong with wanting to make the best of ourselves and our looks, the emphasis that our culture places on fashion and beauty leaves many of us feeling so ordinary and like we will never measure up to what we see in magazines.
God wants you to know that you are a perfect beauty! When God made you he knew exactly what he was doing. He knew every detail of your body inside and out. He molded you exactly how he wanted you to be. You are his masterpiece!
For you formed my inward parts, you knitted me together in my mothers womb.
Sometimes we get so caught up in what we look like on the outside that we forget about our inside. When God designed us he took heart in every detail. Our heart, soul, hair, shape and color was apart of his design to make us who we are.
She is more precious than jewels and nothing you desire can compare her.
Today's society is real quick to point out flaws and pick apart even the prettiest people. There has been a certain standard on what we should look like and what kind of clothing we should wear. But let me remind you that no matter what size you are or what store your clothes are from. God loves you for exactly who you are. He doesn't care about the brand or your body mass index. He created you and he loves everything about you.
In closing I would like to say that we are human and we will always notice things about ourselves a lot quicker than others. Sometimes we are our own worst enemies and critics. So maybe we should take a step back and look in the mirror and instead of hating what we see learn to love and appreciate one of God's best creations and that is YOU!!
