Spiritual Fruits

Galatians 5:22-23
But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. There are no laws against these things!

When you gave your life to Jesus all the fruit of the Spirit were planted inside of you in seed form.
God loves you so much he wants you to experience that love in the deepest part of your soul. Pray and ask him to help you be the person who walks in love. Choose to believe the best about people rather than assuming the worst.

Many people may I ask what are the fruits of the spirit? They are characteristic of the Spirit of God that dwelleth in you. They define and mold the character of the child of God that is led by the Spirit of God. As we are led by the Spirit of God we are molded into the character of God, thus developing the fruits of the Spirit.

Matthew 7:16
You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles?

This verse means that we should be able to tell someone's spiritual growth by their behavior.
We all may wonder and ask how do I get them? How do they develop?  You don't!! The fruits of the spirit are those qualities of the spirit God given to us by the holy spirit that is the evidence of Christ in us.

The fruits of the spirit are spiritual seeds. Very much like a tree. The tree will produce seed bearing fruit that will produce offspring. We are offspring of God when we become born again in the Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit teaches us the word of God so eventually we develop these fruits. The Holy Spirit changes our nature so we began to demonstrate the 9 fruits as we mature spiritually.

We you walk and live in the spirit you are no longer living by the carnal state of the flesh, but in the supernatural or spiritual state of the Holy Spirit. To apply the fruits of the spirit to your daily life you must apply the word of God to your life

Galatians 2:2
0
Myself no longer lives, but Christ lives in me. So i live my life in this earthly body by trusting in the son of God,  who loved me and gave himself to me.

As I close I urge you to look these up and read the defintion of each fruit. Study them and apply them to your daily life. Because of Christ we no longer have to struggle on our own. We have the holy spirit to guide and encourage us.

1st Corinthians 3:16
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God,  and that the spirit of God dwelleth in you.

Jesus has experienced every trail that we face and he still remains faithful to us. So that's a great reason to remain faithful to him.

1st Corinthians 10:13
There hath to temptation taken you but such as is common to man; but God is faithful,  who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able. But will with temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear.

Our escape is through the Holy Spirit and we find that all things are possible to those who believe!!!
