Godly Friendship

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But some one who falls alone is in real trouble. Like wise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but 2 can stand back to back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple braid cord is not easily broken.

I am sure that we all have that special friend or group of friends that we know we can always call, day or night, no matter what! They are the ones who will always be there to help you when you fall down! I have learned in my Christian life that one of the most important things is to have godly friendships! Relationships, friendships and companionships a a life long desire that everyone is born with. God wants you to have these relationships! They can be the sweetest part of life!!

Proverbs 27:9 says "the heartfelt counsel of a friend is as sweet as perfume and incense. Godly relationships are vital for every Christian! You need people in your life who will build you up when life gets hard and hold you accountable if you start to fall! I don't know where I would be without the friends that God has placed in my life!!

At AwakeningLIFE, we build these friendships through our small groups called Life Groups! They are the best way  to build a trusting relationship that will last a lifetime!!!

  1. LOVE this Maggi! My Church family is my FAMILY!!! I can count on them to drop everything and go into prayer for whatever I need! It is a great comfort to have this and they know even if I am at work I will do the same! My Christian friends are a treasure that I don't take lightly and of course not all of them are at my Church but I wish they were ! Lol! I also LOVE our small groups that we call our life groups . This has made me close to so many people that I would have never gotten to know in a Church setting other than a hello and a hug. They are awesome as you know :) Happy Labor Day!!! Great job darling :)
